Brianna Deleasa

Brianna is a 19 year old from New Jersey who is majoring in Web Development and Management at Bergen Community College. She has been creating websites for 6 years and counting. She got into web design through a friend of many years. Her friend wanted to start her own website and had asked Brianna if she wanted to work on it with her as well. Both girls had no HTML knowledge whatsoever, however they picked up tips and tricks off of the internet. They made a very simple layout in Microsoft Paint, and they had themselves their first website. To view this horrific website (which is still on the free host we used to host our website) click here, though be warned that you may be blinded and scarred for life.

Brianna has always been very interested in the coding aspect of web design. She has always loved trying new things and finding different ways to make her code cleaner and more efficient. She started getting into PHP coding, which furthered her knowledge of programming languages. She decided to take a C++ class in high school, which helped her further understand the code she was using in PHP.

Aside from web design, Brianna is also a passionate dancer. She has been dancing since she was just three years old. As she grew older, she became an assistant, helping the instructors by demonstrating dances for the children so the teachers could better critique the class. She is now an instructer, and has been instructing for 6 years. Brianna loves all types of dance — tap, jazz, lyrical, and modern, though in the past few years she has discovered that her true forte is hip hop. She strongly considered majoring in dance at Montclair State University; however, after talking to a few close friends and fellow dancers, she learned that it is very hard to make a decent living as a dancer. All of the women that she had talked to majored in dance in college; they all had to go back to obtain a new degree. Brianna came to her own conclusion: if you are a good dancer, that's all that matters. She realized that she doesn't need a bachelors degree to show that she is talented. If she one day get an opportunity to dance on stage and be in music videos, thats great. If not, she always has her passion for web design to pursue as well.
